Just in time for the changing of the seasons, we bring to you some heavy new tunes from Niagara Falls. This is a split CDR with Annapurna Illusion which has been released by the excellent German label, Amid The Waves.
Niagara has two long-form tracks on this limited edition, hand-made release. Housed in deluxe gatefold, chipboard dvd style packaging with color insert. We only have a few of these, so grab em while they’re hot. You know, in the Shop.
I’ve been reworking ye olde Honeymoon Music Shoprite Emporium, and it’s now up and running, and fully functional. You’ll find handy pages for each release with pertinent info.
Also just added to the Distro section is a fine, fine disc from the Portland, OR based band Not Yeti, which contains our own Jason Schmidt of Stainless Japan. The band released this disc under their own Spiritual Invertebrate imprint, and it’s quite a wonderful first release. You can pick one up right over here.

This just in…killer, thick new Niagara Falls & The Clear Spots split cdr released by the most excellent dudes at Deep Water Acres (check out their newly redesigned site). A righteous pairing of about thirty minutes from each band, and some of their heaviest material to date. We have a few of these in the Distro section of the shop, and these ultra-limited edition discs won’t last long, my fellow travelers…
1. Great in-depth interview with our own Chris Bozzone at the French site In-Tension right here.
2. Just added to the Distro…
Wave of Tears, by Adam Bugaj. This one’s released by the great men at Deep Water Acres.
Adam Bugaj sometimes plays lysergic barn rock with the Clear Spots, other times vaporizes neurons with Peacefeather, but more than either he’s a bedroom studio Dr. Moreau, toiling away in his attic laboratory to bring us fragmentary new sonic life forms. If the medium is the message, this is definitely speaking in tongues: flashes of recognizable elements float by — ghosts of Wilson/Parks sketches, malfunctioning electronica, lo-fi psychedelia, tape hiss and machine hum and the click of the edit button –then fly off in mid-sentence just as their import begins to clarify. This is what it would feel like if Daylight Savings Time happened every day. (dwacres.com)
Just added two albums by our boys, The Clear Spots, to the distro section. Adam, Tom (also of Peacefeather), and Matt Bugaj, and Kevin Moist in various formations, rock some muddy earth tribe tones. You can get one for you and your loved ones in the shop. More info from Deep Water Acres here.
We’re pleased to be making available to you some releases from our sister label out of Portland, OR. They are called Marriage Records, and they make beautiful things. Check the shop for Viking Moses/Spenking, The Marriage Records Comp, World, and Andrew Kaffer.
